This is a great item to give them so you can say "Go get your own camera"!
However, we have found that my Two and a half year old can use my old, very durable Olympus Stylus just as easily and with better/more photos.
IF I had to do it again, I would just buy her an inexpensive "real" camera instead of this "almost-a-toy" camera.
