(More customer reviews)My daughter is really into the Barbie as Rapunzel things and she purchased this particular toy with her allowance. (She is 6) The horse is made from a hollow plastic and does not move at all. (The legs do not change position) The carriage hooks onto the horse's saddle, but it does not stay hooked very well and my daughter has to keep on putting it back on. The horse's hair is too long in my opinion. It keeps getting tangled up in the carriage and around the horse's hooves. And, the hair isn't top quality which means you will need to brush it often to keep it under control. It also comes with horseshoes which were too hard for my daughter to put on and they pop off after a while.
I liked this toy when it was in the box. It is beautiful and looks very much like the carriage in the movie it is based on.
However, for the price, it is not the quality I was expecting. My daughter does play with it, but, I don't expect it to last.

Disney The Princess and the Frog Deluxe Tiana Doll and Wardrobe Play Set -- 11'' Review

(More customer reviews)The Tiana doll in this gift set is exactly what you'd expect -- a Barbie-type princess doll, which is pretty durable. The nice part of the set is that you get all of the memorable outfits from the movie. The part that's disappointing is that Tiana's fingers are spread and the dress sleeves are very narrow. I've already had to repair one of the sleeves because it ripped, and the gloves are very difficult to get on. My 3 1/2 year old daughter is not able to put the long-sleeved dresses or gloves on by herself, which detracts from the independent play aspect of the toy. For the price, I would expect higher quality and more well designed outfits.

Mattel Barbie 3 Story Dream House Review

(More customer reviews)We bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday. The size is great, the pieces are fun, but...The sliding doors broke very easily; the little 'tabs' which hold them in. Also the elevator mechanism broke right off; can't glue it back on, it would ruin it. I called Mattel and said these parts are unavailable as this was a Holiday item. Shame on Mattel for poor construction at a hefty price. The one I had Christmas of '78 was better quality with tons more accessories. Don't waste your money on this.

I bought this a few years ago for like $5.00.
This Barbie has a silvery, witch costume on, with orange accesories. The doll can be removed from the box and played with since it is not a collector's item.
This doll is perfect for the collector, or for a child.

(More customer reviews)My daughter loves it but she was disappointed when the wings keep falling off and it is hard to keep them on. So I kept them off so she plays with it without the wings.
Otherwise she loves playing with it. For the amount of money of the horse it should be put together better.
